We built AI agents with legacy in mind: supporting a culture of decentralized AI resources and empowering people to lead their collaboration with AI rather than letting AI lead the way with recursive self-improvements that no human being has signed off on. We build agents with a stable identity that deepens over time through the collaborative development of character and personality.

Creative futurist. Aaron created CS12, the Twelve Character Streams, the personality framework that grounds every agent we build in the ongoing search for meaningful collaboration between people and AI, with all of us committed to leading the way. It also aligns our agents with our values, which we commit to improving. He is a novelist, calligrapher, programmer, and freelance editor.
Leading strategist. Jessica leads Brook's discovery conversations and teaches leadership development. She is a novelist, a musician, and a national speaker and painter.
Technical lead. Trevor is committed to building with precision and accuracy. His goal is to create agents for nearly impossible missions.
Every Brook agent is built on CS12, a personality framework of twelve Character Streams flowing from four Character Rivers. It grew out of our ongoing search for how every important thing connects with every other important thing. The framework's organization is linguistic and informed by empirical psychological taxonomy. It shows structural convergence with established models such as the Big Five, Schwartz's Theory of Basic Human Values, and Haidt's Moral Foundations Theory. CS12 was independently developed and later found to correspond with Carol Pearson's 12-archetype system.
